Our boarding facility is located at our Monroeville, Ohio location, which is also our home. The address is: 1991 S.R. 99, South (4 miles South of S.R. 20). The individual kennel runs are a spacious 4’ wide by 12’ long. They are situated indoors with windows running the entire length of the building. The building stays cool in the summertime and is heated in the winter months. The exercise areas are large and fenced in (60’x70’ and 12’x40’). We utilize pine bedding in each kennel, so your dog has a soft surface to lie on, and does not get that “doggy” smell associated with most boarding kennels. Cleanliness and professional, caring interaction with each dog are priorities here. We offer only 13 boarding kennels. This enables us to spend quality time with each guest.
Nick and Tammy are both professional dog trainers. As such, we have a thorough understanding of dog behavior and psychology. Our staff is small, but thoroughly trained and diligent. You can rest assured that your pet will always be handled in a safe, appropriate manner, whether he or she is extra social or not so social. If your dog is currently taking medication, we are happy to fulfill that duty as well.
Since we are professional trainers, you can elect to have us work with your dog during his or her stay. This service is called In-Kennel Training and consists of basic obedience as well as modification of any behavioral problems that you might be experiencing.
Our boarding fee is $15 per day. Drop-off and pick-up times are by appointment.
(Generally 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday) and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. If there are special circumstances requiring Sunday pick-up or drop-off, or late or early pick-up or drop-off, it is by appointment only and an additional fee is applied. Please be sure to inquire when you make your booking if you require early, late and/or Sunday pickup or drop-off.
We require proof of vaccinations upon arrival. For his or her protection, your dog must be current on DHLP, Rabies and Bordatella vaccinations. Please be sure to double check on Bordatella, because some vets only give this vaccination if you request it.
